Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Sighted, you agree to these terms.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Sighted.
Sighted Pro
- Pro is a monthly subscription, billed through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe.
- It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage billing. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- The free plan includes a limited number of AI identifications per month, which may change.
AI identifications
Identifications are generated by AI and can be wrong. Don't rely on Sighted to decide whether an animal is safe to approach or handle, or for anything involving your health or safety.
Your content
- You own the photos and notes you add. You give us permission to store and display them to run the service, including to your friends as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Only upload photos you have the right to share, and nothing illegal, harmful or hateful.
Respect wildlife
Please keep a safe distance, don't disturb animals or their habitats, and follow local laws and park rules.
Fair use
Don't misuse Sighted, for example by creating accounts to get around limits, scraping the service, or trying to access other people's data. We may suspend accounts that do.
No warranty
Sighted is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app.
